Is there supposed to be a named storm today? Maybe aye, maybe no but there will be a whirlwind of questions and a tornado of answers plus a monsoon of prizes. At the quiz. Ooh yeah.

Here’s the music round cheat which pertains to the Persevere tonight. It’s INXS who were Australians who did not own crocodiles:

You’re probably too young to remember, but INXS were a big deal back in late 80s / early 90s. They stopped having hits when everyone realised the songs were all the same but for a while they tranced the public and all the girls fancied the singer.

But the singer ended up killing himself in 1997. It was only a couple of months after Lady Princess Diana The Queen of Hearts got smashed up in Paris, so the British public, steeled against tragedy, dealt with the story easily, with a shrug.

That’s the thing about celebrity deaths: you either care or you don’t and there’s loads of them these days so its even harder to care.

However the news that Chas out of Chas and Dave died yesterday is a bigger one than most, in my book.

Chas and Dave were funny but they weren’t comedians. Chas was a musical genius and they rocked hard. The maestro is dead. Luckily, however, the recordings and the youtube remain so you can keep Chazzing and Daveing forever:
