If you need to entertain people, I can help you prepare and present a Live Quiz Event which works well as corporate entertainment or team building.

As a professional quizmaster, you can trust me to deliver a high-quality occasion for eveyone to remember.

Advertising

If you have a local business which needs more exposure, you could consider cash-free advertising on our quiz sheets, which will put your name in front of hundreds of local people per month (for 2 hours at a time) in return for prizes such as vouchers.

History

In 1996, after a few year DJ-ing and working for BBC Radio Scotland, I noticed a gap in the market for pub quizzes that were run professionally. The marketplace for quizmasters then (and still today) was dominated by amateurs

Starting in 1996 with pub shows, I developed engaging formats to move quizzes on from their stale image and quickly built a following in Glasgow.

Soon I was making a full time income from pub quizzes and this eventually resulted in recruiting and training other quizmasters to cover all the quiz gigs which kept coming in.

More recently, I took a sabbatical in Greece where I wrote my ‘How-To’ guide for up and coming quizmasters.

This is the first and so far the only guide to making a living as a quizmaster. Selling on the internet, the book explains how to approach quizmastering professionally and how to get the best out of it.

As of 2011, I am now based in Edinburgh, running quizzes for various customers and looking to help others improve their businesses through quizzing.
