Isn’t the human body amazing? Even slightly rubbish ones like mine.
I was considering this earlier this morning as I walked the sunny yet cold streets of Trinity, past so many cars, all of which were born after me and (hopefully) most of which will be scrapped before I become so.
And yet I am biology, which is somewhat accidental, whereas these motor vehicles were all carefully designed.
Do you possess any machines that still function that are older than yourself?
I have a radio which used to belong to my dad and was made in the 1960s which is in decent working order but apart from that, I struggle to think.
Let’s celebrate our resilience and relative accidental longevity. Thank you universe!
