Best wrong answers of the week were on Tuesday and Wednesday
On Tuesday at the Safari Lounge, I asked a questions about what type of type of transport is Harold from the Thomas the Tank Engine stories, with the clue that he’s not an engine. The other clue was that this was in the same letter round and everyone would know that it was letter H. So most people got the correct answer (helicopter) but the bar team surpassed themselves by saying HEARSE.
Imagine a jolly hearse with a face. It’s probably what the Thomas stories needed.
Then on Wednesday night in the picture round there was a picture of Anwar Sadat, former leader of Egypt. You don’t even need the whole question for this one, just the fact that it began with the words “Which Arab country….”
Wing Attack are a great team but they wrote ISRAEL for this one. Oh dear.
The best thing about that is it wasth EONLY question they got wrong in all five rounds and they ended up winning the quiz. Amazing.
