So the big jackpot went at the Tolbooth last week and we are back to pretty much normal.

Big pot of the week is tomorrow night at the Portobello Tap where Kerry is giving away £150.

This song is like smooth buttery audio whipped cream. It carries the unmistakable Bee Gees touch and it’s from a time (1980) when the battered corpse of punk lay defeated at the feet of SMOOTH.

This is the era of Imagination being rolled up in carpets and George Benson laying down guitar on roller skates, the age of Smooth.

Smooth was king, no more arguments. Everything nice.

Well, that’s how I remember it anyway but then I again I was in primary 3 and when you’re that age, reality is watery at best.

Away from the peaceful and smooth primary 3 classroom full of R&B and smooth jazz funk, there was probably a whole load of riots and knife-fighting heavy metal punk angst. Possibly in Primary 7, but we never went up that end of the school.
