Not much to say here today. I’m running late.
All I’ve got to say today that if you find a piece of chicken-wire then take the opportunity to drag your hands along the wire, palm-to-palm, with the chicken-wire in between. Not dragging hard or pressing, just gently pulling along.
It creates a strange jelly-like sensation in your fingertips. I don’t know if it’s pleasant or unpleasant but it’s certainly a bit odd.
Thanks to Nigel from Fuctifano for drawing my attention to this strange phenomenon. There’s a section of chicken wire forming the fence next to the stairs at Brass Monkey Shore and he showed me there.
Honestly, it’s worth a trip to the Shore just to try it – chicken-wire is pretty rare these days and there’s not a lot of venues use it.
