For once the football dovetailed nicely.

I was just finishing the quiz last night as Scotland were getting ready to thump three goals past Norway.

No nasty overlap. Quiz finished at half seven. Football started fifteen minutes later. That’s the way we want it. But it’s hard when they keep moving everything around the whole time.

So if you work for the football or the Sky Sports or whoever runs the whole shebang, can you please tell them to just pick a time and stick to it? Thanks.

Your help in this matter won’t go unrewarded.

Music Round Clue for Amber Rose:

This is OPUS and their mad rock-pop Euro anthem that dominated the summer of 1984. I can still remember being at the Radio 1 roadshow in Scarborough that year and paying direct witness as the unstoppable rhythm swept over the crowd, infecting ten thousand brains at once like some kind of trance fuel.
Although their tune bears little resemblance to acid house music, this FEELING that Opus created probably sowed the seeds of the UK’s warehouse revolution which was to change UK pop culture completely just a few short years later.
