I’m standing in for Isla at Porty Tap tonight as she takes a well-earned break. As you might know, I don’t take breaks cos I’m a human, boomin’ quiz-machine.

We love it when answer a tricky one correctly. We love it when you risk it all in double-or-bust and come up smiling. We love it when a top team make a mistake and let in the pluggers.

We love the edge-feel of a nasty wee fifty-50 in the money round. The tension.

We love your feeling of raw victory when you yell the anagram solution and finally get one, after months of being beaten to the punch.

You are victory. We are quizmasters. We never sleep.
