Thanks to Hearts FC who handed in a pair of tickets for their match against Saint Mirren tonight to the Brass Monkey Gorgie. In turn, I gave them away as a quiz prize (for the anagram) which was nailed by local legend Davey. I hope he either enjoys the game OR gets a good price for them.
The team known last night as The Booze Brothers said afterwards that they knew the anagram first but they’d “heard about the prize”, so remained silent.
I’m not a Hearts fan or a Hibs fan, but it’s it’s good to see a local team at the top of the league. Long may it last.
Anyway, who’s top of the league in the quiz world? I’ve been meaning to go through last year’s stats to find out some overall stats for 2025 and it’s the fourteenth of January already. I need to get myself together. Busy month though.
Tax return still not done. Clock ticking. Dah!
