There were some disappointing Germans at the quiz last night.
Usually, Germans are top-notch quizzers but these fellas ended up with 12 points, putting them in distant last place at the Brass Monkey Drummond which is famous for being full of low-quality quiz teams.
The Germans, nice chaps as they were, said it was my fault and the quiz was loaded against them because it was “all British stuff”.
“Ah well,” I said, “That’s Brexit.
Speaking of which, maybe I’ll start deducting tarriffs from the scores of all-American pub quiz teams. See how they like it.
