A conversation with team DOUBLE WHAMMY last night at the Persevere revealed that we’re all thinking the same thing deep down:
Namely, that Aberdeen is a hell-hole and Dundee isn’t that bad.
It used to be the other way around but Dundee’s been doing it’s “not-so-bad” thing for a while now and it’s getting to the point where you could (almost) imagine living there.
Aberdeen on the other hand, is surely on a downwards curve? I visited the city quite a few times in the 1990s, but less so in recent decades. I remember it was quite buzzy in the 90s but on my few recent trips I can’t help thinking I’m in the opening scenes of a zombie film. The atmosphere is grey death and imminent danger.
I’m sure some of you will know better than me. Is Aberdeen really a hell hole? Is Dundee really OK?
