There were some people who breezed in last night at the Safari, just in time for the jackpot round. I was happy to accept their entries for this until the moment they handed them in and I saw what they had done.
Instead of writing down the answers, they had written “A” or , “B”, or “C”, etc relating to the multiple-choice option
And now I was afraid for obviously these people were pscyhopaths. Now I would have to cross reference everything they’d written.
I made a point of decrying their choice: saying on the mic that I had visited Auschwitz in my time but this was, in some ways, worse.
Afterwards, I thanked them for taking part. One of the women said
“You were a bit rude about our answers”, and I said
“Yes, that’s to stop you ever doing it again”
I didn’t apologise. Don’t do the ABC thing folks. It’s loony.
