Made the mistake of staying behind for a drink last night with a group that include Leith glamour couple, Jamie and Allie.
Before much chat had passed I found myself being regaled by Allie with photographs of Jamie, on top of a mountain, stark bollock naked.
This was enough for me although, to be fair, some of the shots were properly cool. There was one where he’s got the arms up, sky behind him, he’s right on top of the cairn and it’s real album-cover stuff. Fair enough.
But then she showed me the video of him clambering down the cairn, still naked, on haunches like a creeping gargoyle, and making a grimace that only looked evil rather than hilarious.
Allie described this as “The Gollum video” and that’s a fair description. Not cool.
Please don’t show me any more videos of naked blokes up mountains. I’ve seen enough now
