I was negative the other day about various sports. To add some Yang to the Yin, here are the five greatest sports to watch:

DARTS

Absolutely mental from start to finish, every single time. Perfection

FOOTBALL

Pampered, petulant baby millionaires? Sure, but it is beautiful.

WEIGHTLIFTING

Honestly. Watch a session of Olympic weightlifting. The drama in every lift is human heartbreak and glory at its most raw.

CRICKET

Gotta hand it to the English: inventing a game that lasts for five days and still regularly finish as a draw is a ballsy move. I like their style.

SNOOKER

I like all the colours and the spheres. Technically more boring than a day out in Dunfermline, but somehow draws you right in.

So that’s the positive to the negative and the balance has been restored to the Dr Paul Universe.

Speaking of positivity, I hope Team Pepeja can repair their relationships with each other after another loss at the Safari Lounge last night. This once-great behemoth of Tuesday nights are now just another team with THREE losses in the last three weeks.

Pepeeja superfans are burning up the internet with rumours running wild that the team is on the brink of a split and Mal’s threatening to keep the name and not let anyone else use it. You can follow the full story in the Daily Express and Daily Mail’s Twitter feed..

Music Round Clue for Oz Bar tonight:

This is THE DEAD KENNEDYS who were Punks from America, early 80s. This still sounds pretty decent. The song is in the music round tonight at Oz Bar.
