Good morning!
I’m up, writing this email, at the usual time because I finally worked out, after all these years, that I don’t actually care about the Superbowl.
There was many a Superbowl Sunday in the past where I tried to stay up to watch the game and I nearly did the same last night until I suddenly remembered that I don’t care about any of it.
I don’t care about the sport particularly. I don’t care which team wins, I have no affection for one franchise over another. I don’t care about all the millionaires and billionaires and the half-time entertainment and all those celebrities.
So I finally learned my lesson and I went to bed instead. Smart move. I feel good about my decision.
When I did stay awake in the past I would usually fall asleep during the half-time anyway. So what’s the point in trying?
