Goddam Lothian Buses have got the fella out of Jigsaw (horror movies – not the 80s kids show) running their social media
I asked them yesterday on Twitter what the longest route is on Lothian buses after having a think about it in the morning.
I expected a straight answer but they were like “Guess…” So I guessed a few times and they kept on saying “Wrong, guess again”.
I had to go to work, and I tired of this foolery but I picked it up again this morning when I suggested we stop mucking about and that they just tell me the answer.
They doubled down and said: “We just want you to guess”
Good grief – how frustrating!
I posted a grumpy Tweet with another guess and they said no again but then they finally did send me private message at the same time confirming that the longest Lothian Bus route is, in fact, the 47B which goes Cammo – Cramond – D Mains – Town – Newington – Bilston – Easter Bush – Penicuik.
So now we know.
I can’t remember putting such a disproportionate amount of effort into getting such a correspondingly underwhelming fact.
However, I’ve asked them to send me some route data so I can make some questions based on longest route, shortest route and so on. Hopefully I’ll get something back Look out for these filtering into the question database in due course.
