Thursday is here and we’re all just glad to be alive.

That last link alerts me to the fact that there is an annual UK National Giant Vegetables Championship and it takes place at the Malvern Autumn Show every September.

Now, I know someone who lives in West Malvern and that means I might well get somewhere to stay. After spending all of my available money plus money I don’t even have pursuing Eurovision this year, perhaps it’s time to change interests.

It should be about £150 train to get to Malvern and back on the train. Maybe buy my host a nice breakfast. Tickets to the show are £20. Plus a bit of spending money. This is looking feasible. Whole thing should be less than £500

God dammit – I want to go to the giant vegetables show.

But September has passed and I have to wait. These dreams are on hold until the calendar clicks around.

So we can all dream about giant veg of the future, but in the meantime our chances of happiness are still to be found… at the quiz. Here’s the line up for tonight:
