I love it and I hate it at the same time.

MINUSSES

• You cannot get anywhere at normal speed.
• Even more drunks than usual in the city centre.
• Flyers.
• Some of the Leith quizzes quieter than usual as the artsy clientele head up town.

PLUSSES

• Everyone comes to Edinburgh and tells us how beautiful a city we have.
• A fringe day out = quite a good day out.
• There’s a buzz.

And anyway, no matter my poinion or your opinion, it’s happening. Might as well roll with it.

In terms of quizzes, the only disruption over the festival is that the Brass Monkey DRUMMOND ST can’t do the quiz during this time – but EVERYWHERE ELSE is UNAFFECTED.
