With quiz and love,

I don’t know why stuff like this is so popular. It’s another one of these modern male singers (actually a lot of the women do it too) that have “the crying voice”. It doesn’t really matter what they sing, as long as the tempo is slow, the chords are minor and there’s enough tremble in the voice to indicate that the singer has been through an emotional wringer and, at this point, is hurting deeply. This particular practitioner of the form is JAMES ARTHUR and this song is in the music round tonight at the STRATHIE. These singers are all so similar, it must have been studied by music industry people so they can repeat the template. Even down to the detail of formatting the singer’s name as [ORDINARY FIRST NAME] – [ORDINARY SECOND NAME].
To wit: Sam Smith, James Bay, James Blunt, James Arthur, Ryan McMullen, Rhys Lewis. All the same bloke.
Anyway – if you like that sort of thing then God bless you and Merry Christmas. x
