I felt sorry for The Bitches of Don Don last night at the Joker. Andy was there and explained that there would be no BODD at the quiz because they hadn’t booked a table and the pub was fully booked.

I said to him to hang around because there would be at least one table failed to show up. He declined, it looked like the BODD had already decided to sack it off.

Of course, there was one table that didn’t show. It always happens. So if you’re ever in that situation, please do bear with us and you’ll usually get a nice seat pretty soon.

Or just book.

I kinda liked the old days when no one booked anything and you just piled in and took your luck and sometimes it was heaving and sometimes it was gentle.

One other thing – it’s a reminder that next week is qualification week and the following Sunday (the 27th Nov) is Megaquiz #4, taking place up at Brass Monkey Grange.

So speaking of booking – it might be a good idea to get a spot booked just now for next week.
