Here’s a lesson about thinking you know something. I was certain that the Equinox was on the 21st of September (as well as the 21st March).

But I’ve just looked it up and I see it’s a 2 in the morning on the 23rd.

See: even the quizmaster gets it wrong sometimes. I guess the real lesson is that I bothered to CHECK before posting. That’s quizmaster style. Reference, fact check, safe, sorted.

Mind you – it’s always EQUIZNOX though – equal questions, equal answers, every night.

BY THE WAY – If you were one of the teams that left Brass Shore last Wednesday during the POWER CUT, you might not know how it panned out. After about 45 min of darkness, I was ready to pack up and call it quits. Suddenly the lights were back on. There were still ten teams in the pub, so we finished the quiz and the Mulgrews ended up winning. Sorry to all those who left.

The final twist was that we had a £100 winner, and they were two fellas that walked in off the street near the end of the main quiz. 

Anyway, come and do the quiz cos yer Da disnae.
