So you can either go down to London and queue up to “see” the Queen or you can come to the quiz

Only one of these options comes with entertainment, food, drinks, jokes and laughs, bathroom facilities, warmth, quiz action and a cash jackpots.

Also, you don’t get to actually see the Queen. it’s a closed coffin. And you don’t even really get to see that cos its covered in flags. There could be anything under there. And it’s guarded by a bunch of fellas with weapons, so you can’t even touch it.

Quiz the clear winner, I reckon.

I’d better watch my disrespect though. I was playing the Sex Pistols song* about the Queen at the Brass Monkey Shore last night at the exact moment a power cut shattered the quiz.

Many teams left in the interim with the news that it might take Scottish Power 2 hours to get things back on. In fact, I was just about to quit and pack up when the lights came back on, the music started up again and we finished the quiz with the ten teams who were still there.

Crazy times.
