If the rain keeps going it will wash the rubbish and might dampen down the smell in the city centre. I was up at Bristo Square / Forest Road yesterday. It was fairly brutal. 

On the other hand, as Nick pointed out, when it rains it welds to discarded flyers to the pavement, when it dries. In the meantime it’s like ice skating.

I went ice skating once, at Paisley Ice Rink. My specs fell off when I fell and there were wee kids whizzing about and I  thought “one of these kids is going to skate right over my specs if I do this often enough. So I came off the ice.

Total life ice skating experience: about four minutes.

Anyway, no such balance challenges tonight – just quizzing.
