I’m reading a Paul Theroux book at the moment, ‘Dark Star Safari‘ where he travels overland through Africa, from North to South. I think it’s written around 2001-ish. He’s sympathetic to Africa but jeezo – the state of the place, the lives.

We honestly have no problems here in Scotland.
