I see the paralympics have caved into pressure and banned Russia and Belarusian athletes from the games. Should I do the same? Should I ban all-Russian/Belarusian teams from the quiz or should I say they are allowed to take part, but under a neutral flag? Should I ban Russian and Belarusian individuals from taking part at all, even if they are in another team? I don’t know. It’s a minefield (not literally, obvs,)

Anyway, the chances of Belarusian and/or Russians turning up to the quizzes tonight is admittedly slim so I’ll probably pursue the current policy of ignoring the war and hoping it goes away.
