The song is called ‘Bruttosozialprodukt’ which as you probably know is the German for “Gross National Product”

In the eighties, this was ripe topic for German pop. And Geier Sturzflug’s song is an absolute belter. It’s worth checking the translation if you have the time.

Meanwhile, the music round free answer for the Safari is a rapper named 21 Savage.

21 Savage was from London and moved to America as a seven year old. He’s pretty American now but if you listen closely you can still hear a bit of London in his rap.

I don’t know what his speaking voice is like and I could easily find out but I prefer to leave it to the imagination – somewhere between James Brown (Atlanta) and Chas out of Chas and Dave (Lahhndahhhn)
