Umma Gumma

There were all those memes last month about how January lasts for a hundred days but February this year has been brief and prompt. No mucking about. Like an 80s packed lunch. There’s your sandwich, there’s your apple. That’s it.

It’s been so fast this year that they’ve had to add an extra day on. That’s coming up on Thursday.

Sorry again for anyone who showed up to Paradise Palms last night to find the pub shut. The electrical problem continues and hopefully all will be all right for this Sunday coming. I’ll let you know.

Anyway, I’m a bit behind schedule here, so I’m not going to divert you with the nonsense that’s in my head (Pat Sharp, turtles, the moon) and I’m just going to get on with the details for tonight:

Music Round Clue for Fisherrow Tap Tonight:

This is C & C MUSIC FACTORY, and a song of theirs which appears in the music round at the Fisherrow Tap tonight. If I was a Radio 1 DJ in the 90s I would describe this as “crucial” or “essential dance”, something like that. Fun fact: C&C stands for Clivilles and Cole (the surnames of the blokes who made the music.
