I see the Sleaford Mods walked off mid-show in Madrid because someone threw a Palestinian flag at them while they were performing.
I get the thing about not wanting to take sides on a situation that causes so much division. Never mind Palestine, I was a pub quizmaster in Glasgow for many years and fully appreciated the value of being a Partick Thistle supporter.
But why cancel the show?
If someone throws a flag at me at the quiz tonight I’ll PROBABLY ignore the flag and carry on with the quiz, whether it’s a flag of Palestine, Israel, Nazis, Pride, Fife, whatever.
Which makes me wonder, does Fife HAVE a flag?
Answer (I’ve just looked it up): No.
