One of the good things about having a kid is that they can show you cultural things you would otherwise miss.

I’ve just finished watched a 12-episode Japanese anime series called ‘Madoka Magica’ with my daughter, on her recommendation. It’s something I would never, ever have chosen to watch of my own choosing but it was the best thing I’ve seen in years. Great story, amazing animation – really artistic.

Obviously, the downside of having kids (or even a singular kid) is the fact that your money all goes. Say goodbye to all of it.
