I never get involved in political online debates these days. Life is too short to spend it composing coherent sentences that will be largely ignored.
But I still read through the comments on some debates. A recent one featured commenters claiming that young people (and people in general) are more “politically engaged” since the referenda (2014 and 2016).
I don’t think that’s right. I live with a young person who (as I discovered yesterday) can’t name the Prime Minister. I feel like I never hear people talking about politics in the pub these days.
Am I wrong? Am I missing the pol-chat? Let me know.
