You might know Scott from either Brass Leith or Brass Shore. Tall feller. Anyway, Scott’s doing a half-marathon
Not an easy thing, but it’s to raise money in honour of his nephew Cameron who was diagnosed with Rett Syndrome at age three months.
I’d never heard of this but I’ve just done the briefest of reads on Wiki about Rett Syndrome and it is not nice. Cameron is still very young. It’s a hard road for his family.
So all I’m doing with today’s post is linking to Scott’s fundraising page. I’ve made a donation, maybe you could too. He’s aiming for £1000 and is doing pretty well so far. Let’s get him over the line. (Money goes to Reverse Rett – a charity specialising in this rare condition and making the lives of these kids a bit better).
