There were some fellers last night at the Safari who I hadn’t seen before but they said they are regulars at the Willow in Musselburgh on Thursday nights (with quizmaster Brigid.)
They said they do fairly well and when they win a jackpot now and again, they put it in a pot and then have a celebration at the end of the year.
Last year they had enough money to go on a “citybreak”. It’s just that the city was Dunfermline.
Man, I’ve joked for years that you might want to take the jackpot money and have a holiday in Fife. I had no idea that people were actually doing this in real life.
