Overheard on the bus last night going up the NOW-OPEN North Bridge, a conversation between two young women on the top deck at the front:
“Wow. This is such a revelation! I’ve never seen it like this. The whole time I’ve lived here it’s been a mess”
“I sort of remember it from when I was a kid”
“I can’t believe you can walk up both sides”
Which made me think: my own daughter is now college age but was in Primary School when the North Bridge project started.
I’ll have to recommend she takes a trip on the 8 sometime soon. Or the 14.
