NEW QUIZ!

Quizmaster Kov debuted at Brass Gorgie, covering for me the other week and now she has her own weekly quiz at the Dublin Street Social, which is in the New Town. You can guess the location from the name of the pub.

The exact address is 26b Dublin Street. I popped in there last week to drop off posters and I’ve got to say – it looks like a nice gaff. I’d never been in there before. Try it!

Meanwhile, has Starmer resigned yet? If he knew what he was doing, then he’s a liar. If he didn’t know what he was doing, then what is the point in him being leader?

Wasn’t his whole schtick that he was supposed to be careful and sober and rules-based in contrast to previous slapdash PMs?

Meanwhile, various election communications from the minor parties clattered my letterbox yesterday. The winner so far, just on sheer number of words is the Communist Party. Their thing folds out and goes on for pages and pages and pages.

I’ve noticed this relationship: the bigger the party, the lower the word-count on your flyers.

Knowledge is power. Get some at the quiz tonight. Whilst drinking.

See you tonight.
