The evil hand of big football strikes again, switching Hearts v Hibs to a Tuesday night (Feb 10th). There will be no Gorgie quiz that night. Bastards.
Big football schedules disrupt people, transport, livelihoods, everything, without a care in the world.
I suppose big football is just one of those big actors that we have to live with, big ego morons who like to throw themselves around. Trump, Putin, SPFL.
And I see rugby, always ten years behind the curve, is trying to catch up with the manspreading fixture sprawl that maximises telly time and revenue and sponsors and money money money.
Previously content to more-or-less stay in their lane, this year’s Six Nations now has a match on a THURSDAY night. Honestly, just piss off and leave us alone.
Mind you, no one cares about rugby, so it’ll be fine.
