QUIZ NEWS – The Joker is CLOSED tonight. The pub needs a bit of fixing up here and there, so they’re closed this week. They’ll be wiring and mending, sanding and painting and all that kind of stuff. Quiz returns as usual next Wednesday

Usually I go upstairs on the bus, but there was a guy got on ahead of me yesterday who had chaotic vibes and a big mad-looking dog, so I stayed downstairs.
Is it just me or are there suddenly way more chaotic, addicted, wild characters around the town? Compared to say, two years ago?
It’s probably just me. I’m probably getting old and scared that one of these ragged characters from the fringe of society will attack me one day with their their skinny arms and their five teeth.
It would be like being assaulted by a dishcloth. Unpleasant and smelly, but ultimately non-life-threatening, I suppose.
