The best jackpot you can win at DP Quiz tonight is at the Brass Monkey on Drummond Street.
Sometimes people get the Brass Monkeys mixed up (particularly Brass Monkey Leith vs. Brass Monkey Shore).
A taxi driver told me once he ended up at the wrong Brass Monkey when some drunk women got into his cab and asked to be taken to “The Brass Monkey”. He asked “Which one” and was told “You’re supposed to know that – you’re the taxi driver!”
I can’t remember how the story finished. I think they ended up going to either 2 or 3 of the Monkeys before getting the right one.
All the Brass Monkeys are excellent. There are now five of them. I wonder if Martin will add another one this year?
