The Willow is usually on Thursday but will be on Tuesday this week and next. You know, cos of Xmas and New Year etc.

By the way, I bought myself a DVD player last week. Watched a film last night with my daughter. Heartily recommend this. So much less fuss than streaming.
First win was avoiding endless choice paralysis, Before even turning anything on, I’d decided: “Right, we’re going to watch ‘Slumdog Millionaire’”
Fuss was minimal. The film just started when I pressed PLAY. That was it. No adverts BEFORE the film. No adverts DURING the film. Brilliant.
When we paused for a a cup of tea, the movie stayed paused – it didn’t jump to some mad screensaver or advert. Restarting was no more complicated than pressing PLAY.
I like to watch the credits at the end and listen to the music. DVD allowed me to do this in peace without overlaying the screen with desperate and relentless suggestions of what I might want to watch next.
When done, I just turned the whole thing off. No further harassment. Overall, the experience was polite and peaceful. Big recommend for the DVDs.
Anyway, come to the pub tonight. I also don’t do adverts.
