Did you survive STORM AMY?
I was happy enough because it caused me no disruption whatsoever, Friday being the day when I don’t have to go anywhere specific or do anything in particular.
Not like at the start of August when the storm came on a Monday and put a fat spanner right in my works when I couldn’t get back from Manchester in time for the quiz. Rarr.
Getting older, it’s hard to tell whether or not you’re getting just twisted and grumpy when you think “The weather never used to be like this.”
Or has it actually changed? Is it actually worse? Obviously, I could go and look at the data… impartially, without prejudice.
But as long as these anomalies are happening on Fridays and Saturdays, then I’m fine. In the same vein, thanks to Hearts and Hibs for playing on an actual Saturday this time instead of messing with me on the Sunday.
