What a relief: I was right all along.
As a quizmaster, I worry the about the possibility of issuing wrong answers. After all, there are outcomes ranging from a bottle of booze that you don’t actually want, all the way up to hundreds of pounds, which you definitely DO want.
As I’m sure many of you know – I put a LOT of effort into making sure everything is correct, but with tens of thousands of questions in the Dr Paul database, the chance of something erroneous slipping through from time to time is real.
So whenever someone challenges me, I get a wee bit of the heebie-jeebies.
The latest challenge came from Leith legends: Blue Fox Tuesday who told me last Sunday that the picture round from the week before was wrong in regards to zodiac symbols.
I could hardly sleep all week, but I finally got round to checking this out this morning. Turns out I was right the whole time. Everyone relax. It’s fine.
And that is probably the most exciting my life has been in the last seven days. I wonder what this week will hold in store?
