So, Easter Road was a tough gig last week thanks to Hibs winning at home. They’re playing again today but it won’t be such a bother this week because the game is in Glasgow (away to Celtic).

Speaking of Easter, it’s only three and a half weeks until the Easter holidays. It’s a surprise they learn ANYTHING given the amount of breaks they pump into those kids.
Also, what is it with doing eight or nine different subjects at Nat5 level?
When I lived opposite the high school in Peebles, I remember picking up a bit of litter which turned out to be timetable some kid had dropped. One minute they were doing forty minutes of German, next minute they were doing Physics. Then Art, and so on.
How the hell are you supposed to get good at anything when you’re all over the place like that? Just reading the timetable was like being inside a washing machine.
I would organise school differently. One thing at a time, until you’re good at it, then move on. A bit of depth.
Having said that, a wide and shallow knowledge is actually suited to doing well at pub quizzes, so if you had your mentality ruined by such insane schizoid timetabling in your school days, then come along to the quiz. You might just win.
