Good start at Craigmillar Park Golf Club last night with Bonni at the helm. Hopefully that fills a nice gap for Southside quizzers who were looking for an earlier quiz.
Best wrong answer of the night last night was at Brass Monkey Gorgie where six quizzers were up for the tiebreaker for £150. The question was:
In the 2024 version of the TV show ‘Gladiators’, how tall is the shortest male Gladiator? (Answer in feet and inches)
The answer is 5 ft 11 inches (which is Nitro). One fella wrote down 4’11’“ which is roughly the height of Ronnie Corbett. Or, indeed, Dolly Parton.
Imagine how easy Gladiators would be if you had to fight Ronnie Corbett. Also, imagine how difficult Gladiators would be if you had to fight Dolly Parton.
