Main big news tonight is the new quiz at Craigmillar Park Golf Club which is near Blackford hill. The address is 1 Observatory Road. Ideal for Southsiders who prefer an early quiz. Perhaps if you used to come to the Brass Grange on Thursdays and are not a fan of the new later time – this might be the one for you.

Apart from that, who’s looking forwards to summer? I’m going to get AI to do all my work so I can sit under a tree somewhere in the Borders and stare at summer clouds, like I used to do when I was a kid.
Obviously I’ll have to turn up to do the actual quiz presenting, but all that other stuff that chews up my day, I can just leave to the robots.
I’ll say:
“Dear robot – please do the scheduling, the quiz database updates and the printing. Once you’ve done that, can you do the orders for next month the pens, answer sheets, 2 point vouchers and answer cards and jackpot sheets and staples and ink.
Also, we need some decent email content so if you could knock out one of these to cover every morning for the next month, that’d be great.
After that, actually WHILE you’re doing that (cos you is so clever), can you check all the questions in the database that need updated and can you weed out anything that has become culturally irrelevant and mark them as archive.
Also, I need some new music rounds, preferably with a nice spread of decades and styles and some good clips which can convey the dynamic of the whole song from a 20 second clip max.
Also, Eastway needs new posters. If you need me, I’ll be staring at clouds. Later.
