Monday 20th January, 2025

Everyone’s had “the lurgy” over the last few weeks. People are reporting going from bed to sofa, to bed again and not being able to care, or try, or give a damn.

In fact, it sounds like everyone has turned into a teenager.

Speaking of teenagers, I asked the list question last night at the Percy which is about the jobs/trade/professions that appear in the original (1851) version of the ‘Happy Families’ card-game.

Correct answers included Baker, Butcher, Chimney Sweep, those kinds of things, but The Plebs reported that their youngest member, Harry, came up with ‘“Wife-shagger” during the brainstorming.

Good lord! What are they teaching them at school?

Gen Z, man! Wild!
