It’s happening again with the noise complaints from people who move into flats above pubs. Honestly, it’s mental.
But this time, instead of getting mad, I’m going to get wise. I’m going to approach local a councillor and see what can be done to protect livelihoods, communities and LIFE in the city because right now it seems ANYONE can shut down ANY pub just by complaining.
And I’ll bet that the majority of Edinburgh people do not want to live in a city where everything is shut. If we wanted that, we could just move to Penicuik or Ratho.
I think the first step is to know the law, and to know it properly. Does anyone know where I can look up local laws on this kind of thing? Let me know.
