Monday offers three quizzes, with two of the jackpots hitting £100.
If you’re a real jackpot hunter, you won’t want to miss two classics this week: £210 at the Ship Inn on Wednesday and £150 at the Hot Toddy on Sunday. Both venues have fewer teams than our average venues which leads to bigger pots and, of course, better chances to win.
Meanwhile I was just reading about gay fish (see fact above) which led me to a whole Wikipedia page of gay animals. There might well be some quiz questions coming out of this which will end up in the database.
Apart from that, it’s the start of the month which means everything should be packed up and ready for the next four weeks but I’m slightly behind schedule so I will be spending a fair part of today printing and picking questions for double-or-bust and jackpot rounds for the coming month.
It’s a fine life being a quizmaster.
