The picture answer for Brass Monkey tonight is Snow Patrol who are described by Wikipedia as a Northern Irish band but a quick sketch through their page reveals that a large part of the band’s history took place in Scotland, as they were formed in Dundee and lived in Glasgow as they tried to break through.

It’s a good story of persistence and showbiz and worth a read, even if you’re like me and think their music is dishwater.
