I’m reading a book at the moment about which was written by a British woman in her 50s who decides one day (in the late 1970s) to cycle across America, which she goes and does, with no prep whatsoever.
It makes we want to do something similar but I’m a bit trapped with the quizzes. I need the money.
Mind you, I haven’t checked my lottery ticket for last night (I buy one every now and again).
So if you don’t see me at the Percy tonight then it means I won the lottery and by this time tomorrow I’ll be in the USA on a bike, heading West. Don’t call me.
But in all probability, the quiz will go ahead.
Also – Hibs are at home again, but it’s an early kick-off so it should be peace and order by quiz-.time.
