We have a new MONTHLY quiz starting tonight at Herringbone at Goldenacre, a fine pub which I know ell, it’s just round the corner from where I live.
Quizmaster Dee (resident at Ryan’s) is your host and they’re doing a mad jackpot of £100 per quiz. That’s a record high for us in terms of a jackpot figure per quiz night. Just two rollovers and that’ll be up to £300.

I met a quizmaster from Dubai last night. Nice guy called Dylan who is an American who used to be Emirates cabin crew, got laid off during the pandemic and became a quiz host instead.
We talked shop. It seems that Dubai-based quizmasters get better paid than us, but they have to live in Dubai. Swings and roundabouts.
Also, apparently, the hotels over there are VERY cheap just now. Nice holiday? You can probably afford it if you pick up some of our jackpots tonight:
