Do you still use Twitter? Or “X”. I still have an account but rarely post.
I do look at it for news on it, because, over the last few years, it felt like Twitter moves faster and is less burdened by advertising than “news” sites. Also, it feels like you get real punter reactions. Not so filtered. Also, Twitter is often FUNNY.
But it’s kind of hard to see one’s Twitter feed equivocally now that the guy who owns it is effectively a major (US) government figure. This can only mean that he’s going to control the algorithm so I’m going to see more praise than criticism, doesn’t it?
I just had a quick squizz at Bluesky which looks identical in layout to Twitter but just with less spice and potentially less fun. From a quiz-promo point of view, are any of you using it? Or should I just dump Twitter and stick with Instagram and Facebook?
